Timesavers has expanded! – October 1, 2005
In addition to our office in Jasper, AL we have now added an office in Hot Springs , AR. Joining us as manager of the Hot Springs office is Lisa Riley. Lisa has been involved with SouthWare products since 1993. She previously served as Director of Information Services for a manufacturer and distributor of office products in Hot Springs , where she implemented SouthWare as the business management solution for the organization. She also implemented SouthWare as the solution for a computer reseller in Little Rock , where she served VP of Operations. Through her extensive experience in sales, distribution, manufacturing, accounting and service management, she brings another layer of business experience to the Timesavers organization.

New Warehouse Tracking Application Available Now – February 14, 2005 Auburn , AL - SouthWare is pleased to announce the release of Warehouse Tracking, an Excellence Series application. Warehouse Tracking adds multi-bin tracking and warehouse transactions to the capabilities of the Inventory/Sales series.

According to SouthWare Executive Vice President, Tim Sanders, “With the optional use of browser-based, wireless handheld bar code scanners, warehouse operations can even run smoothly without any paperwork. And, WorkFlow-driven customization allows the system to be easily modified to meet specific needs.” The system includes an option to turn a diagram of the warehouse into a clickable web page for interactive inquiry.

The warehouse information in Warehouse Tracking is separate and supplemental to the Inventory/Sales information so it does not change the normal process flow of receivings, order entry, etc. Processes such as updating receivings and picking tickets will create warehouse transactions in addition to their normal update of accounting and inventory files. Warehouse transactions do not generate any accounting information so they affect only warehouse-related files.

“When using SouthWare's Warehouse Tracking, accounting and billing operators don't need to enter warehouse information and warehouse operators don't have to work with anything but warehouse information” says SouthWare President, James Clemens. “This provides an integrated system for purchasing, receiving, putaway, stocking, selling, picking, staging, shipping, etc., without requiring complicated data entry functions.”

SouthWare Releases Revision 10 - June 25, 2004

Auburn , AL - June 25, 2004 - SouthWare® is proud to announce the immediate release of Revision 10 of the SouthWare Excellence Series™, Business and Accounting Software. This latest revision combines state of the art technology with proven business and accounting techniques to provide the best possible business software solution on the market today.

SouthWare is very excited to release this tremendous new revision. “We continually reinvest most of our resources into product development, which keeps us on the cutting edge of the ever-changing business needs in today's business environment,” says SouthWare President, James Clemens, “and the results are easy to see in our latest release.”

Revision 10 has many new features that w ill make it easier to use than ever before. The primary focus of this latest release was to include the top requested changes and additions from the current SouthWare user base. Great effort has also been placed into providing FLASH updates which will enable the user to receive routine updates on product improvements and enhancements as they become available.

Plus, there is a new module included in this release called Item Group Matrix Adapter. The exciting new Item Group Matrix Adapter module, designed to present inventory stock data in a grid format, allows the user to enter and review stock information such as sizes, colors, and styles in rows and columns.
